Production process

   Week 1

The first week was all about the ideas. As a team we shared our thoughts and came up with the final idea as we already had to begin with the designing of the elements on the following days.

Week 2

In the second week we started the production of our game boards and also printed the first houses and hotels, that was plain sailing. We also programmed our first game characters but couldn't start with the production yet. 

Week 3

In the third week we could finally start to manufacture our game characters but this was trickier than expected as we had some problems with clamping the workpieces. We also went on with the production of our game boards and houses quite successfully.

Week 4:

In our fourth week we kept on finishing our game boards, which went well until we realized that there was a major mistake . The four edges were not even close to be in the right angle which meant that we were forced to make some big changes in the finishing process of the boards.

  Week 5:

The fifth week was very exhausting as the printing of the action cards didn't work out even close to what we had in mind. So now the cards were printed in a copy shop in Innsbruck. In the milling department we tried to fix some major issues from some of the game boards but it was more difficult than expected. 3D printing was very productive because of overnight hours, so almost everyone has his houses and hotels now. For the packaging of the games we decided to use wooden boxes and now we are currently preparing plastic nests to put in the rest of the essential pieces of our game.
